A Park in Little Saigon
In 2011, FLS worked with the Seattle Parks & Recreation Dept. to identify and acquire property in the neighborhood for a park space (currently located between S Jackson St and S King St next to the NVC Hall).
Now in 2018, we’re kicking off the design and construction process! FLS has helped to identify Murase as the design firm and established a Little Saigon Park Advisory Committee to plan and implement community engagement around the design of the future park. We have also identified potential impacts to parking during this process and hope to find short-term solutions with the City of Seattle.
