What are your Tết food traditions? Join us Saturday, 1/22 and learn how to make bánh tét, one of many traditional Lunar New Year meals. Local chefs from Phở Bắc and Ba Sa Restaurant will teach you how to make this delicious dish to bring home and enjoy later!

What is Bánh Tét? Bánh tét, native to central and south Vietnam, is a must-have traditional food during Tết. Bánh Tét is a savory glutinous rice cake filled with mung bean and pork, and wrapped in a banana leaf.

How to secure your spot:

  • Pick your preferred time slot;
  • Purchase your ticket; one ticket per participant. Suggested donation is $20. Proceeds go to the Friends of Little Sài Gòn.

Reminders for 1/22:

  • Your session will begin promptly at the time indicated for your time slot. In order for us to manage capacity and supplies, you can only attend the slot you registered for.
  • Proof of vaccination or negative COVID-19 test from the past 72 hours required for guests age 12+.
  • Masks must be worn at all times.
